I usually get ginger chews at Trader Joe's. They were sold out so I decided to try these because they said they were like T.J. The taste is about the same but these stick horribly to the wrapper. T.J. do not. I will stick with TJ brand.I married into a family of ginger chew addicts. The Ginger People make two types: (1) the Original Ginger Chew, which is wrapped in paper and sold at Trader Joe's (or by Trader Joe's here) and (2) the Gin Gins Chewy Ginger Candy Original, which is wrapped in foil and plastic. I personally prefer the latter (which I also have bought on Amazon, but via a different listing) because when writhing from morning sickness or nausea, I can unwrap a chew with less effort. (I find that the paper wrapper tends to stick to the chew.) My in-laws, however, are obsessed with the Original Ginger Chew, in part because they think it is softer. So, I bought this version for them and it arrived quickly and in great condition.BTW, first-time users: I do not recommend popping a whole chew in your mouth; try a nibble and go from there!I bought these because my husband has a lot of stomach issues and wanted to get something for him to try that wasn't medicine. These aren't the best tasting and they are very hard and stick in your teeth bad. But after taking one of these before his meal he hasn't had an stomach issues. He found that sucking on them was easier than trying to chew it up. I had to take a star away for being so hard and not the best tasting but the product works for any stomach issues you have.I can't say enough good things about these chews. They are good for stomach upset, nausea, and just satisfying my sweet tooth for something sweet and spicy! They work very well to ease most simple stomach problems. I will continue to buy and enjoy. I have purchased these in the past from Trader Joe's but on several attempts to buy them there they were out of stock each time. Which indicates that I am not the only one that knows and appreciates the benefits of these sweet ginger chews.I bought this to help with morning sickness and they keep it a bay. Thank you for such a good natural product.Much softer and tastier than the other ginger chews sold including the ones from the Ginger People. Night and day difference and worth the much higher cost if you do not have a Trader Joe's nearby. Trader Joe's sells these packages of ginger chews for less than two dollars apiece so quite a markup when buying online and paying more than three times as much.I normally by at Joann's when I'm shopping there but they must have discontinued them. Great flavor.Too hard possible old not enough flavor like when you get at the store. Not fresh
