CauseI'm sad to report that the majority of "reviews" here are inaccurate and/or irrelevant. These bags are being marketed as a correct fit for silver age comics (not TPB's, etc!) - alas, they're not. Tonight I finally got around to rehousing my Wonder Woman collection (or so I thought) only to find that these "silver size" bags are approx. 0.75cm too small for late 50s/early 60s size comics. And that's without a backing board. The even worse news is that the backing boards supplied by the same company, i.e. specifically designed to fit into these "silver size" bags fit so extraordinarily snugly that there is barely room left for a smaller size comic from bronze/current age. Yes, these later size comics WILL fit in these bags with the corresponding backing board, but it doesn't sit flatly: there is some curvature overall and some rippling at the top of the bag because the tuck-in/seal part of the bag can't sit flatly/evenly where it should be folded back because of the curvature caused by the strain of too much being squeezed in. Another reviewer mentions that he might trim the boards by about 2mm and I would agree with this assessment, it would make the difference to comic, board and bag all sitting comfortably (and safely) together. Use this information as you will, but BOTTOM LINE: THESE BAGS WILL NOT HOLD YOUR SILVER AGE COMICS.I orginally bought the current size bags in order to store some trade paperbacks I have which I found to be too small for the job. I bought these bags soon after and am pleased to report they're perfect size! I haven't tried them with backing boards yet but I can just take a look at the bags and see it'll be a fairly tight squeeze. The size of the TBPs I've put in these range from 100-200 or so pages and they fit snugly into these bags. The bags themselves are high quality and arrived soon after ordering. Very pleased overall.The product dimensions are accurate. My Astonishing X-Men books fit perfectly. It is slightly tight with a backing card. Very snug. I may trim the card slightly (2mm lengthways) to stop them from bowing ever-so-slightly. Apart from that, very nice product, nice quality plastic. Single issue silver size comic books will fit perfectly.Strictly speaking, these are slightly too small for silver age, but are perfect for bronze & modern age. Good quality, nice sheen to them and the seal removes the hassle of using tape. If in any doubt, check measurements before you buy.In the Q&A it says this would fit A4, partly my fault i should have done the measurements, but it doesnt fit A4, its tiny.No use to man or beast.
