I used this handlebar bag daily for almost a year. I had the plastic strap rings break, the top panel buckles under the weight of a little rain, and leaks, nor is the front pocket water resistant. The bag is not appropriate mere modest rain, is uncomfortable to wear, and the inner cardboard is a bit inconvenient, it's round, and so you're denied the full floor area of a the bag. I packed all my items in ziplock bags when using this handlebar bag and just expected any maps I put in the top window to get mushy. I especially don't like the handlebar mounting hardware - the brackets are made for really skinny handlebars, and I had to rasp out the pvc brackets, which are prone to splitting around the screws, and the lower flange that is supposed to be zip-tied to the quill neck has also broken on me if not firmly zip tied. This bag wasted a lot of my time. However, it does hold a six-pack of bottles and a large bottle well, and it cheap as dirt. So if you have the time to make it work for you, it might have much better value in a drier climate than in the Pacific Northwest.
