Walkers Cheese and Onion Crisps - 12 Pack of Crunchy Snack Bags | Perfect for Parties, Lunchboxes & On-the-Go Snacking

A few years ago I spent several weeks in the UK and fell in love with these chips...er, make that 'crisps' and now I 'have to' have them shipped to me every few months. I have found that this size (20 bags) is usually the best value as far as shipping them from the UK goes.The onion flavor on these is so unlike any American chip...it is REAL onion flavor and strong, unlike the almost sweet and, definitely fake, onion flavor on most chips in the US. The chips themselves are also of a higher quality than typical US chips, I find that the chips are a bit thicker and more durable, as well as, less greasy than say, Lay's. Speaking of, Walkers is now owned by Lay's so I don't understand why we can't have the same quality of chip and this flavor in the US! These are nothing like a kettle chip but they seem more "solid" (for lack of a better word) than a typical American potato chip. They are just on another level than any other chip, which is why I will pay a premium to have them sent to me for as long as I can. I also appreciate that they are labeled as 'suitable for vegetarians' and that the ingredients list is so short and not full of fake things.Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! A staple treat snack for any Brit. And if you have not tried them, you are missing out!I am so pleased that I can finally but these on Amazon.com and at a reason able price. I don't understand why Walkers are not distributing these yummy crisps in the USA because I tell you now, the Americans are missing out!It is making my mouth water just writing this review LOL If you are feeling home sick, buy these crisps. The taste and texture are different, making for a most fabulous potato crisp (or potato chip to Americans)! My son lives in London and I got addicted to Walker's Cheese and Onion Crisps while visiting him over 10 years ago. My love for these potato crisps has continued to this day and every so often I have to order some for myself if I don't have any left from my last visit to England. These are, in my opinion, absolutely the BEST and are well worth ordering even if you haven't tried them before. In addition, check out all the other flavors of crisps made by Walkers because many of them have never been heard of in America.I have ordered this twice and on both occasions there was one bag that didn't taste as fresh and on this one bag (both times) when I ran my thumb over the best before date the ink easily smudged as though the date may have been tampered with. It might be just my imagination, but this happen twice in a row on two separate shipments. The other 19 bags were still fresh and the sell by date was in tact and still a month and a half within the expiration date. I'd love to know if it's just me who's experiencing this.The delivery came well within the time frame.I just love these chips, well Cheese and Onion flavored chips I guess. I purchase these because they are cheaper then Tayto brand chips. They are however not quite as flavorful as the Tayto brand ones. I've ordered them multiple times. Most of the time they come just fine however the last time I ordered them the box was a bit small and it seems the packager put the chips in anyway and 3 bags of chips were crushed, but I mean I could still eat them they weren't like dust they were all just like 1/10 pieces of a chip. I will order them again.I am from South Africa originally and I miss the food...a lot....lol. It's so difficult to find simba products so when I came across this brand from the UK I flipped out! They arrived earlier than the projected date. And I really liked them! If you also happen to be South African and are also searching for a taste of home, these are not identical to our stuff but they are delicious. They killed that craving which is fantastic =) please try these! You can't go wrong with them.The flavor was delish . Will keep buying .Just received 20 bags of crisps today, Was Very surprised to see how fast they came. Only gave them 4 star because they are ready to expire which is Very dissapointing to have 1 month date on them so not as fresh as they should be. Rec'd them 8th Oct & expire 19th Nov. I will order again but not before checking the date before purchase. Saves me buying so much snacks when I go home. Walkers are my favorite.I've been ordering these on and off for a few years from the vendor and although I live in a remote northern area and it takes a long time for them to arrive, I am always happy when they do show up (getting any mail up here takes forever). I love cheese and onion flavoured crisps. If you haven't tried them you had best do so as they are delicious.I love these chips. I discovered these chips on Brit tv. I found them in a British import store and tried them. Delicious. But very expensive. Lays came out with a cheese and onion chip that was just as good a couple of years ago but it was only available for a limited time. I treat myself with these once or twice a year. I'm worth it!i grew up in england and miss the things i had back home. i was a bit sick and drank way too much cough syrup, a week later these showed up at my door with about 200 granola bars ( must have been a good idea at the time). i still have 150 granola bars but these were gone the first 2 days.These chips are a nice flavour. I had a bit of an issue with my order and contacted the seller who replied very quickly. He was professional and extremely helpful. I am pleased with this purchase.Mmmm, just love these crisps, Canadian crisps are just not as good as these!
