The best feature of the fill-n-freeze variety is that we pack them in luggage without the water added when traveling to a hot destination. When there, fill n freeze so your day pack has “ice” to keep your snacks and drinks cold. When leaving, we leave them behind so hopefully housekeeping or the next person using the hotel room/freezer section of fridge will scoop them up and keep using them.
