These bags are fully gusseted. These expand all the way up, not just a little pleat at the bottom. Laying flat they measure 5" x 11" but open to about 7 1/2" at the top. The description of the bags do not do them justice. I bought some other bags that said they were gusseted, but it only had a little pleat at the bottom. Love these bags and am going to order some more right away.
