I feel it should have a base to support. I have to get my own but it’s beautifulI never ended up using these boxes. I thought they looked too cheap and were very thin and flimsy. They were difficult to keep closed and when they did you almost had to destroy them to get them open. I was hoping these were what I needed but they fell short for a number of reasons.
