There were Panda and Clownface. This is one of my all-time favorite comic story arcs. Originally a four part series I believe, it's a cute coming-of-age story about a young girl who wants to connect with her estranged father. The results are very satisfying. Yes, there's a young female protagonist and lots of violence. Hey, it's an over-the-top comic book people. Try it and I think you'll have a new anti-heroine to add to your list of favorites.
